The Crew Cut

Henley's Royal Regatta 2018 saw thousands of visitors flock to watch crews from across the world compete in more than 200 races at the world-famous five-day event. Olympians to amateur oarsmen raced along the one-mile and 550 yard course while well-dressed spectators watch from the river banks, elaborate boats and the Regatta Enclosure.

Attending Henley Women’s Regatta wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Crewroom stand in the retail village. Crewroom has been supporting British Women’s Rowing since 2001 and this event is one we truly get excited about.

The Crewroom team were back on the road last weekend and couldn’t be more excited to arrive at the 185th Durham Regatta. The event dates back to 1834, but its roots can be traced even further to 1815.

Global Running Day on 6th June 2018 was an international celebration of running that encourages everyone to get moving. It doesn’t matter how speedy you are or how far you travel, what’s important is that you get involved. We love the fact that so many dusted off the old trainers and got their running mojo on!

Every May our Crewroom roadshow team looks forward to the National Schools’ Regatta. With parents picnicking whilst watching their children race, it’s one of the most enjoyable events on the rowing calendar.
